Core Values

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Core Values

The following are the core beliefs of Restoration City Church - GA based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

We Value the Gospel

The Gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, reconciling a fallen people to Himself. The Gospel is at the center of everything we are and everything we do. Therefore, we are ambassadors of reconciliation because Jesus Himself is “reconciling to himself all things, making peace by the blood of his cross.”

We Value Biblical Masculinity

We hold to a Biblical complementarian view, meaning that men and women were created equal in God's image and likeness: different persons of equal honor, both serving the church and home, each in their unique roles. Men are to humbly and sacrificially lead, and women are to powerfully and wisely render help. Through the efforts of our church, we long to see men and women walk in the fullness of all that God has called them to be and do. The church more beautifully expresses the Gospel when men and women live and serve in complimentary, godly ways with one another.

We Value the Full Counsel of God’s Word

We’re committed to teaching and preaching the whole Bible, believing that the truths of the scriptures are God’s perfect revelation to mankind. It leads us to salvation, maturity, hope, and God’s design for our lives. We preach in an expository way, primarily through books of the Bible. This protects us from avoiding challenging or uncomfortable verses and ensures that we teach and learn the Bible in its true contexts. Because we believe that our theology drives the way we live, we strive to connect each and every truth in the Bible back to the Gospel of Jesus.

We Value Corporate Worship

Sunday morning is when we gather as a church body to worship God through song, preached Word, and communion. We believe that our corporate worship gatherings edify God’s children and invite the lost into salvation in Jesus Christ.

We Value Communities on the Mission of the Gospel

God calls to Himself a people to advance the gospel. Together, our lives serve as a preview of what Jesus’ Kingdom will be like. We commit ourselves to share not only our time and our resources but to also confess sin and encourage one another for the primary mission of sharing the Gospel.

We Value Church Planting

We believe the Great Commission isn’t just a personal mission, but a mission for each local body of believers. Therefore, we find this best achieved through local churches that plant new churches. We want to train qualified leaders, provide them with tools, resources, and disciples, and then send them out to plant new churches. We’re convinced the best way to reach the lost and the de-churched is to plant a church in their community. A church that’s truly on mission for the Gospel will be passionate about planting more churches.
